Let me show you around!
I've set up the Belmont dollhouse for this occasion. We've still got lots of snow here in Ottawa, but I tried to bring in some spring with lots of tulips and bright colours. The best part of setting up a mini scene is getting to see all the pretty artisan items that are usually safely stored in storage boxes.
The rustic style cake with berries on top is by the talented Handmade Miniatures by Alma! I'm so thrilled with it. Alma is an amazing artisan, the berries are perfect and look incredibly realistic. And it turns out we share a birthday! So she's a guest of honour at this party too.
The rest is a mix of pieces I've collected over the years. A few of the standouts are the iced tea drinks which were by Everday Gourmet on Etsy, and the champagne and wine glasses are from the Little Dollhouse Company. The bar stools are by Boutique Miniatures on Etsy. And all the cookies and pastries were made by me.
The tulips are all from both the Little Dollhouse Company and Grandpa's Dollhouse. I love the little metal pails. The three-tier cookie stand and cake stand are from Miniatures.com.
And I replaced the old faucet for the sink with a new bridge style, it's kind of hidden behind all the party items, but I have a photo from when I was painting it below. You can find both these styles in my shop here.
So glad you came to my party!
Thank you so much for following along and supporting me through all my mini projects. I'd love to share my birthday cheer by offering one of you a $25 USD Shapeways gift card. You can use it at my shop to purchase things like mini pot fillers or faucets like the ones I have in this post, or anything else on the site!
To enter just leave a comment below. You can also get a second entry by leaving a comment on the very first party photo on Instagram and tagging a friend there (it will be labelled as the giveaway post). I'll be selecting a winner on Saturday, March 30.
Limit two entries total will be counted. One for the blog and one for Instagram. :)
Now, who wants some cake?!
**** Thank you all so much for the birthday wishes and kind words!!! I'm overwhelmed by the response! I'm not going to reply to each comment because it will make drawing the winner more challenging to sort through, but know I've read each and everyone!****
I’m really excited

You show that dollhouses don’t have to be about victoriana, bad scale, or mass produced items, but they can be beautiful, modern and perfectly realistic. Thank you for your stunning work, and for sharing your tips and knowledge. I’ll be looking to take a few leaves out of your book, and maybe a piece of cake too š¤£š° Beth
