Happy Easter!

I hope you are all having a wonderful Easter weekend.  I want to thank you all for your kind words and encouragement on my last post.  I was planning on doing
a much larger Easter scene this year but ended up with a real life painting commission that took up my every waking moment the past 8 days.  Thankfully the painting went very well and for the minis I did manage to make clay bunnies and eggs before starting to paint. The tree was quickly thrown together today before the photo as well. (My boyfriend insists it looks like water balloons hanging from a tree, but we'll just have to pretend they are eggs :) )
Some of you mentioned the fridge in the comments last post, I had originally posted about it in my March birthday post - Yes! It's Elf and I'm so pleased with it.  I can't wait to get some really good photo scenes together once the kitchen is complete.  Sooo close! I've started on the banquet and just need to create some sort of small dining table.  I had planned all that for this post, but I will have to finish it this week instead.
That's all for tonight, I've eaten way too much chocolate today and I think it's time for bed!  Happy Easter!Kristine

  2. Well, Kristine, I thought they were eggs, because they were hanging 'downwards' on the branches, hihihi and moreover yesterday it WAS Easter and they had to be eggs ;)!! I like your little Easter scene, but that painting: WOW, are you sure you never painted a dog before....?? It is amazing work!
    Happy Easter!

  3. Kristine, I just adore your Shih Tzu painting. I love the style of the painting and the fabulous colours. I have three dogs and two of them are Shih Tzu crosses. Your little Easter scene is also cute. I will have to say Happy Belated Easter as I am a bit late commenting. I am really looking forward to seeing your banquet and more photos of your kitchen.

  4. Oh my goodness! What a terrific painting you have done! I love the colors in it and the expression on the puppy's cute little face! :))
I think that your easter scene is really cute too, and the chocolate rabbits have already put an idea in my head. I've just remembered some chocolate eggs that my mother gave me after dinner last night..... so thanks to you, Kristine, I think it is time, for some REAL chocolate right now! :D
